A Life Surrounding a Cabin is the first exhibition of Dorothea Lange's intimate family portraits and landscapes at Steep Ravine, on the rocky coast of Marin County, where Lange turned her eye towards the subject of freedom.

Organized by the Marin History Museum and originally presented at the Marin Community Foundation.
