Marin History Museum New Volunteer Orientation
Come join the Marin History Museum's volunteers! Orientation and training for new volunteers begins this June and will continue throughout the summer. Exciting opportunities are available at all three Marin History Museum sites—the historic Boyd Gate House, the Collections Research Facility, and the upcoming Marin History Museum Music Center!
Join us at the McInnis Park Club Restaurant and learn about the Marin History Museum's volunteer program. Orientations will be available at the following dates and times—we hope to see you there!
Saturday, August 21st, 9am–12pm
Wednesday, August 25th, 6pm–9pm
*New volunteers are only required to attend one orientation session.
The McInnis Park Club Restaurant is located at the McInnis Park Golf Center at 350 Smith Ranch Road in San Rafael.
RSVP to volunteer@marinhistory.org, as Volunteer Orientation seating is limited.

Parking at the Boyd Gate House is available to Museum visitors on weekdays after 5pm and weekends all day at Westamerica Bank and Circle Bank, 5th Avenue and B Street.
Marin Rocks at the Quarry Benefit
Saturday, August 28, 6–9 pm
At the San Rafael Rock Quarry
On August 28, join us under the stars at the San Rafael Rock Quarry for hors d’oeuvres, wine and music on the waterfront. This special benefit for the Marin History Museum Music Center, presented by the Dutra Group, will feature a sneak preview of Marin Rocks, an original exhibition celebrating Marin’s world-renowned music heritage.
