Michelle has been a Museum staff member for more than nine years. She has worked with such prominent institutions as the Oakland Museum of California, the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center and the National Hot Rod Museum in Pomona, Calif.
Michelle co-authored The State Belt: San Francisco’s Waterfront Railroad and Marin History Museum’s Modern San Rafael: 1940-2000. Prior to her museum experience, Michelle ran her own freelance photography business and worked as a book conservator.
Michelle earned a Master’s Degree in Museum Studies from John F. Kennedy University in Berkeley, Calif., and holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Art History and British Literature from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon.
Heather started in her current position as Collections Manager in 2017.
Heather first became involved with the Museum in 2004 when she served as interim registrar. She returned in 2016 to complete an internship as administrative coordinator for the new board.
Heather has previously worked as both a professional photographer and cataloger for several Marin County public libraries. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Art with a focus in Photography from San Francisco State University and is completing her Master’s Degree in Museum Studies at John F. Kennedy University.
