"This film was written and produced by Terra Linda and San Rafael (California) high school film students, ca. 1970-1976 under the supervision of David Swingle and other San Rafael City...In 2002, 10 presumably lost student produced documentaries were rediscovered." The films were produced in cooperation with The Marin County Bicentennial Commission.
The "Crookedest Railroad" was the Mount Tamalpais and Muir Woods Railway that climbed to the East Peak of Mount Tamalpais along the famous "Double Bow-Knot" giving this line the moniker.
