Featured Speaker: Tracy Salcedo
Tracy will talk about how things have changed on Marin County trails and trails throughout Northern California, with a focus on the last fifty years. She will touch on preservation of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Point Reyes National Seashore, the Marin Agricultural Land Trust, MMWD lands, the advent of mountain biking, and the coming of handheld devices. She will also discuss her favorite historic hikes including ones in Lake Tahoe, Lassen Volcanic National Park and Yosemite. 

Tracy is the author of Historic Yosemite National Park and Historic Denali National Park and Preserve (summer 2017) and has written a number of FalconGuides, including Hiking Through History San Francisco, Hiking Waterfalls in Northern California, and Best Hikes Near Sacramento. She has also written Best Easy Day Hikes guides to the San Francisco Peninsula, North Bay, and East Bay. She was raised in Marin County, California, and now resides in Glen Ellen.
