Quite simply, the Marin History Museum is its volunteers.

Generous community members help our small professional staff with the myriad things it takes to run a museum and its programs. The Museum has an ongoing need for research, writing, curatorial assistance, educational outreach, graphic design and web design.

We also need people to help with the work necessary to keep the Collection organized, improve our community outreach and produce our events.

The Marin History Museum is also an excellent place for college interns to build their skills or for high school students to earn community service hours. We will train you in specific museum skills -- so don’t worry if you have never done this sort of work before.
